Dr. Rashi’s 2BHK Turnkey Transformation at RNA Grand, Kandivali West
Dr. Rashi and her husband, both busy doctors, owned an old apartment at RNA Grand that had simply worn out with time cracked flooring, a dated kitchen, and bathrooms that needed a fresh start. Swami Interior took this on as a full turnkey project, stripping the flat back and rebuilding it into a modern, peaceful home in Kandivali West.

The Brief
The home had good bones but needed a complete rethink — old flooring, a kitchen that no longer worked for them, and bathrooms overdue for an upgrade. As two busy doctors, the couple wanted a space that felt modern, smart, and above all peaceful to come home to. Our residential interior design process started by stripping the apartment back to its shell before rebuilding the flooring, kitchen, and bathrooms around how they actually live.
Living Room
The living and dining area centres on a backlit acrylic mandir positioned next to the TV unit, with a sofa and armchair layout set against a decorative feature wall. The dining space carries its own artistic identity, finished with green chairs against the same decorative wall treatment.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom takes a more luxurious approach, with a marble and gold accent wall, a wardrobe finished with gold trim, and a TV wall design built around decorative panels.
Son’s Bedroom
The son’s bedroom was designed as its own distinct space, featuring fiber optic ceiling lights, a modern wardrobe, and a world map wall art feature with display shelves.
Kitchen
The kitchen was rebuilt with an acrylic finish, tandem box storage, built in appliances, glass display shelves, and an integrated laundry area.
Master Washroom
The master washroom was finished in marble throughout, including a shower area with marble and dark stone walls for a luxury hotel like feel.

Lighting was planned as a layered, warm scheme throughout the home, with a dedicated fiber optic ceiling feature in the son’s bedroom.
