Vastu tips for interior design
Everyone dreams of a well decorated house and if the house interiors are done as per Vastu shastra, it depicts a good understanding for diverse zones. These zones transmit positive and negative vibes and Vastu-shastra strikes a perfect balance amid them. According to Vastu, one should place lighter objects/furnishings in the positive zone and the heavier items should be placed in the negative zone. North, East, and Northeast are considered as the positive zones whereas South, West, and Southwest are considered as the negative zones.
Step one: Vastu Tips for Placing Furniture
As per Vastu, the furniture along with couches must be placed in the southern or the western portion of the living room and the person seated on the couch should either face north or east directions.
Similarly, in the bedroom, the beds must be placed facing the southwest direction of the room and the wardrobes should face south-western portion of the room.
The dining table should be placed facing the north-western direction of the kitchen, living room or the dining room itself.
For best results, the study table should either be placed either in the northern or eastern portion of a study room.
Placement of aquariums in the northern, eastern or north-eastern directions of a room brings good luck as aquariums are light water bearers.
